CaddieAPI / Legal

Terms of Service

Effective 3 July 2026

1. The service

These terms form an agreement between you and aabergkvist AB (trading as Brilliant Rebels), the Swedish company that operates CaddieAPI. CaddieAPI provides programmatic access to golf-club, course and web-intelligence data. Your plan controls the permitted data layer, countries, request rate, page size and monthly record allowance. Stripe is our payment provider and its hosted portal manages subscription billing.

The service is intended for businesses and professional users. By creating a subscription or using an API key, you confirm that you have authority to bind the organisation you represent.

2. Account and keys

You are responsible for keeping API keys secret and using them only from server-side systems. Do not publish a key in browser code, mobile binaries or source control. Notify us promptly if a key is exposed and rotate it through the API.

3. Permitted use

You may use responses inside your own products and internal workflows within the geography, layer and allowance purchased. You may not evade limits, enumerate outside your scope, share a key between unrelated organisations, resell access to CaddieAPI, or represent provisional data as verified.

4. Source licences

These terms do not reduce rights or obligations imposed by third-party data licences. In particular, OpenStreetMap-derived data is subject to the Open Database License and applicable attribution and share-alike requirements. See the Licensing page before publishing or redistributing database extracts.

5. Billing and cancellation

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled in the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless Stripe states otherwise. Taxes are calculated by Stripe where enabled. Failed, disputed or refunded payments may suspend API access.

6. Data quality and availability

Golf data changes and public sources are incomplete. Fields may be missing, provisional or outdated. The API is provided without a guarantee that every record or field is correct. Service limits, schemas and fields may change with reasonable notice; breaking API changes will use a new version where practicable.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, CaddieAPI is not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or decisions made solely from unverified data. Aggregate liability for a paid plan is limited to the fees paid for that plan during the preceding three months. Mandatory consumer or statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Contact and governing law

Questions, notices and data corrections can be sent to hello@caddieapi.com. These terms are governed by Swedish law, without limiting mandatory protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
